Hi friends, I’m Melinda!
I’m a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, & health coach with a background as a professional dancer. I created Barre Strong to combine the best of strength training, barre, & mobility—helping you build a strong foundation, improve posture, & move with confidence.
As a former dancer, I know how important it is to combine technique with FUN, which is why my workouts are designed to be both effective & enjoyable.💃

Yes! All workouts are pre-recorded, giving you the flexibility to complete them on your own time.
Each workout is between 20-30 mins, designed to be quick & effective, so you can fit them in—even on your busiest days!
You’ll get at least 2 rest days each week, but the schedule is flexible! If you feel you need an extra rest day or want to push yourself with an additional workout, that’s completely up to you. The program is about finding balance & what works best for your body!
For the Strength Workouts, beginners can start with 3-8 lb weights, while more advanced participants can use 8-15 lb weights. For the Barre Workouts, you can use a barre, chair, or any sturdy object for support. An exercise mat is also recommended for added comfort during floor exercises. Feel free to adjust based on what you have available!
Yes! You can stream the workouts to your TV using Chromecast or Airplay. The emBODYment 360 app makes it easy to cast directly from your phone to a compatible device. Download the app here: App Store & Google Play.
This program is designed for those with some fitness experience, but beginners are welcome! We’ve built-in options to modify the workouts to suit your level. If you’re just starting, you can skip a day or reduce the intensity to ease into it. The goal is to help you progress safely & confidently at your own pace, with room to grow!
Joining the private Facebook group is optional, but it’s a great way to stay motivated & connected with others. You can even invite friends & family to join—workout buddies can make all the difference! 👩🏼🤝👩🏽💕
